My 11 year old dog had a slight nose bleed so we made an appointment with the vet for later in the evening. Ran some errands and came home to what looked like a crime scene, blood all over his bed, hardwood floors, paw prints tracked through the house, so we immediately rushed him to the vet. He was eating and drinking and acting ok, and his nose just had a drip of blood, but something was wrong.

The vet performed tests and an xray to which we found out he has a form of nasal cancer and there isn't much we can do. They said he probably only had a few days and even said if we decide to put him down now that decision is ok. We know that he likely doesn't have a lot of time left but he will stay on a maintenance dose of this medicine until then.
